Tips How To Be a Better Person

"You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough."
              MAE WEST

Have u came across a person that u think he was way better than u?

Have u ever felt that u were nothing compared with ur very successful friends?

Have u ever felt down and broke into tears when u cannot achieve something like everybody else does?

I did have all of the experiences above. And I’m sure, so do to some of u.
It’s just our human of nature that we want to be the best, to be a role model to other and to achieve all of the dreams.

Almost all humans in the world devote countless hours to thinking of their future and their present situation in life. Almost everyone wishes that there was something that they could change to better themselves.

U have the right to be the best that u can be. The problem is that u may not think of urself as someone that can do great things. The truth is, all of us were meant to do great things but if we don't believe in ourselves, we will never fulfill our purpose in life.

Here I would love to share few great tips for us to be a better person.

Set a goal

Whether it is family life, friendships, relationships, carrier or anything, everyone wants to change something. People will never satisfied with what they already had, they always want something new and better. But it is possible to do so?

Yes, it is possible. The first step to doing that is to set goals.

Setting a goal is very important for us to achieve something. Write ur goals on a piece of paper and put it at the place where u can see it everyday (i.e. mirror).

But setting goals alone is not enough, u also need to compile it with desire and effort. Napoleon Hill, once said in his famous book, Think and Grow Rich, "The starting point of all achievement is desire. Keep this constantly in mind. Weak desires bring weak results, just as a small amount of fire makes a small amount of heat." So, ur first step in goal setting and achieving ur dreams is that u've got to really, really want to achieve the goal.

Read a lot

Trust me, to be a real better person, u need to read a lot. Read as much as u can. Doesn’t matter whether it is a novel, newspaper, fiction, non-fiction, or anything, just read!
Reading is the power of knowledge, while the knowledge is the key of successful life.  Adolf Hitler once said that reading helped him a lot in conquering half of the world.

There are so many books, but so little time for us to read it. So always remember to bring books or newspapers to everywhere u goes, so that u can read it in ur free time.

Marcus Tullius once said that, "A room without books is like a body without a soul." Put books beside ur bed and read it for a while every time before u go to sleep.

One of my brothers once told me that before u want to go and argue with somebody, make sure u prepared urself with all the facts. Otherwise just forget it because people won’t listen to u if u just talking craps. But if u did bring some facts with u, people will respect and admire u.

Watch and Learn

I believe that everything happen for a reason. When u watching something or anything that happen in front of ur eyes, try to learn and get something from it.

Watch the way ur dad talks, watch the way ur mother cooks, watch the way ur favorite football stars playing football, and grasp it all into ur mind. This is a very good learning process. U might needs all of these skills someday.

Watch people change so that u can learn to let go, things go wrong so that u appreciate them when they're right, u believe lies so u eventually learn to trust no one but urself, and sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together.

So try to learn it by watching it. Only the insane will doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Making Friends

Albert Camus once quotes, "Don't walk behind me; I may not lead. Don't walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend."

As part of their unconstrained and personalized interaction, friends benefit one another in innumerable ways. They listen, encourage, give advice, help with chores, loan money, have fun, exchange trivia, share confidences, and simply "are there" for one another. The specifics vary from time to time and from one friendship to another.

So we can gain a lot by having friendship. Try to be friends with a lot of people, so that u can be more open minded and mature.

And try ur best to find true friends, coz true friends are someone who knows all about u and still loves u. (read Tips How To Make People Like U and Be Ur Friends)

Helping Others

By helping others, u can make urself a better person. So many people out there could use ur help. After all, we are all humans and we should stick up for one another.

I’ve always been amazed by stories of complete strangers risking their life to help a fellow human being. If we can just help anyone with a fraction of such a commitment, then we’ve all made a difference.

Could be helping an elderly person with their bags, or helping a kid cross the street, there are so many tiny gestures that we can do in our daily life to help others it’s incredible. When u see a car break down on the side of the road, most people drive by, thinking that help is on the way or that someone else will stop. How about u become the person that stops?

This is ur opportunity to showcase how a good-hearted person reacts in such situations for the greater good of all involved. Remember, by helping others in trouble, others will also help u when u in trouble. So don’t feel its burden for u to help someone even that someone is a total stranger.

Ps : Insya-Allah (by God will), if we managed to apply all of the tips above, we will be a better person in the future. May we all achieve all of our dreams.
