Malaysia’s Top 10 Fastest Rising Searches on Google (Week : April 16-22, 2010)

Most of the internet users are using Google as their main search engines, no matter for both breaking news and for obscure information. We may want to know what is the most interesting story or hot news that our fellow Malaysians are searching for when they online. The list here is a summary of Google Zeitgeist results for the top gainers onwww.google.com.my on last week (April 16-22, 2010)  

1.      Iceland – The volcano eruption in Iceland on April 14 sent an ash cloud across much of Europe, crippling air traffic and forcing countries to close down their airspace. But now everything is slowly back to normal.

2.      MEdSI – Application intending to sit for the Malaysian Educators Selection Inventory examination logged on to the Malaysia Examination Council Website to check their application status from April 15. Well for those who don't know what MEdSI is, MEdSI is a test for those applicants who did apply for education courses.

KUALA LUMPUR: A 21-year-old college student fell to his death from the fifth floor of an apartment while trying to escape from religious officials in Gombak yesterday.

It was believed that he panicked when mosque officials conducted checks early in the morning.

The officials went to the Jelutong Apartments in Selayang Heights, Gombak, at 1.40am after receiving a tip-off on immoral activities.

At the mall, two security guards are patrolling together around the parking lot, and they chatting.

Ravi : Abu, I’m so hungry la.

Abu : Why Ravi? U didn’t eat this morning? U diet aa Ravi? It’s too late la for u to diet Ravi, u r too fat to diet la.

Ravi : No I’m not diet la Abu. My wife packed all the breakfast this morning and gave it to our children to eat at school during the recess.

Abu : Why is that? You didn’t give money to your children to eat at the school?

Ravi : I did. But today, my eldest son, Kumar, need money to buy a text book. So I had no choice, I need to give that money to Kumar because his teacher keep asking him to buy the book. So I got no money left, that’s why my wife packed the breakfast for them to eat at the school. No breakfast left for me.

CHAPTER 1 : The Accident

On Sunday evening, March 7, 2010, Fared is getting ready to start his journey from point A to point B. It’s kind of long journey, around 100km, so Fared wearing his glove and his jacket to show off how masculine he is when he wearing them. Then he started his bike, the shiny and good looking NAZA GTR, brand new, that he just bought a year ago using his own money, aka his mother’s and eldest brother’s money. [hehe]

While he’s waiting for the engine to warming up, Fared take a look at the skies. The sun is shining, the birds is chipping,

ARE GIRLS REALLY SMARTER THAN BOYS ?

The result of SPM was just announced recently. Almost 7000 students scored straights A. Much has been said about girls outperforming boys in school examination. It also goes the same as why boys are outnumbered with girls at public universities. A lot of critics have been thrown to the boys. One may say that non-performance boys deserve it for not putting more effort, too lazy, play a lot and many more hurtful critics.

The point here, are girls really smarter than boys?

Well, exams are merely the regurgitation of facts, (universally stated, and mostly by men) that have been memorized by students. They do not really in any way encourage creative thinking. Sorry to say but one just need to be a good parrot with a photographic memory to excel in exams. You just memorize everything, with a little bit of understanding, then u can do well in ur exam.

The truth is, it appears that no one can explain why top scorers especially women, in general, usually fade into mediocrity or even oblivion when it comes to making it big in the real world. Nor did I say that all of them, but mostly. It appears that the one who become the top player of any fields in the world such as in economic, business, science, politics and etc. are men and most of them are not straight A’s students when they were in school.

SEX EDUCATION IN SCHOOL???

Regarding with the increasing cases of throwing babies, the government is in the middle of planning to implement sex education in school.

Wait, allowed sex education to implement in the school?

Well, I don’t think that is a good idea.

The main reason why government would want to implement sex education in the school is to curb and reduce the underage girls from having babies. If that’s the target, to curb the pregnancy alone, yes, maybe they will succeed to achieve the objective. But that’s not the whole point at all. If we want to solve an issue of these throwing babies, we should start it from the roots. We should stop them from having sex at all!

Youngster had babies because they had sex. They had sex because they were so imbecile and immature to differentiate between right and wrong. They didn’t think much of the consequence that might come to haunted them afterword. Ironically they only know one word, and the word is, ENJOY.

OWH WHAT A GREAT MOTHER

There is one person that colors our life, one person that always cared about us, one person that always been with us in whatever condition it might takes, and that person’s name is MOTHER.

We all have mother. We were born by our mothers who hardly carried us in their belly for 9 months. We were breast-fed by them every day since the day we were born until reached 1 or 2 years old. We were taught to crawl, till we can walk, till we can run, till we can jump, and even till we can fly to lead our very own life.

We were all surprised by the church-bombing accident recently. Owh, wait, before I go any further, why I felt like some of us didn’t know what I’m talking about, hmm, am I right? See, somebody is blushing right now. Hee. Ya, I understand, some of us were all busy study like 24/7, so don’t have the time to update ourselves with the news, of coz. Hee. Okay, never mind. Actually there was an arson attempts on church at Wangsa Maju and Petaling Jaya. It happened few days after the High Court decision that allowed Christians on the use of the word “Allah”. Now u guys get the picture here?

Back to the story, about the court decision, I’m not trying to be in anybody side on this decision about the using of word “Allah” by Christians, I’m not saying that I agree nor did I say otherwise. What I’m trying to state here is, I’m not good and knowledgeable enough to take a proper side on this issue, well, I’m not Yusof Qardawi.

2010

2010 has come, leaving 2009 behind. We come to the new phase in our life, and we turn to the new page in the new chapter. The page that we should properly think before we start to write history on it.

Proportional with the New Year, we become one year older, one year more mature, one year leaving our childish attitude behind, and not to say but one year near to our death.


Reading newspaper recently was kind of cute, shows how 7 years old kids start their new journey in the new school as a student. Some were happy meeting new friends, some were asking for their parents to accompany them outside of the class until the school was over and some were crying so loud as they parents were going to leave them forever. Hmm, kids, always innocent…
