Malay Supremacy

I hate arguing with people about this, about Malay supremacy.

Many keep saying to me that this is Malay’s country, Malay should fight for our right and so on.

Before I go any further, I would like to remind us about our Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) last sermon :

All mankind are from Adam & Eve, an Arab has no Superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has superiority over an Arab;ALSO a white has no superiority over a black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety & good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to another Muslim & that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood.Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow muslim unless it was given freely & willingly. Do not therefor, do unjustice to yourselves.
My dear Malay friend, are we Malay really sure that this country is belong to us? I don’t think so. None of this belong to anybody. It’s belong to the Creator, for all mankind. We just borrow this from Him. Our Prophet remind us to be fair with everyone.

All of us have emotional attachments to the land that we grow up in. Some to the extent of arrogantly claiming that it belongs to them as Tuan’s. But we must all firstly strive to be honest and just beings willing to seek to understand the entire universe and how Mother Nature works as best as we can.

Then we will begin to realise that even ants and bacteria have a right to their existence, and we humans are not the lords or Tuans of anything but just another parasite on earth that owe our very existence to the likes of the cyanobacteria and the plants whose 'waste' oxygen of our lives depend .

The concept is, people who work hard, he the one that will earn and deserve the reward. Simple.

Why keep saying that A is better than B? Why keep saying that our race is better than others?

Yes, Ali is human, but so do Ah Chong and Muttu, they are also human. We human, have to be fair with one another.

I hate to say this, but the fact is, inspite of the NEP, the majority of Malays remain poor. Well, it’s unfair for me to blame the system. Maybe if the system is not working then don’t change the system. Get rid of the people who are manipulating and corrupting the system.

But still, be fair, we have to emphasis the fairness in everything.

Don’t afraid that we might loose power or what, we have to have confidence with ourselves, confidence with our own ability and capability. We have to tell ourselves and tell our children than we have to stop depends on the system, we should depends on ourselves. Have we ever asked ourselves until when we want to depend on the system?

The worst disease is when u keeps relying on others for ur own good and self-interest.

So don’t rely on anybody but u!

Also, I don’t think Malay will fall backward and loose all the voices if we being fair. Malays can never loose power as we are the majority in this country. Even if any political party becomes government, I believe there will be more Malay representatives in Parliament and State Assemblymen.

Actually u don't have to believe me, just see with ur eyes and hear with ur ears on the ground.

Any political party should not forget the People’s Declaration that they once signed, because the people still remembers it. Instead of politicking so much, how about suggesting new ideas to run this nation? Instead of backstabbing each other so much, how about sitting together and discussing how we can improve Malaysian life?

We must fight back by emphasing on the ‘Politics of Hope and Liberation’, which will transform the Malay Mind from the false fear of losing their identity and economical development to a positive force that will create a confident and liberated community

To make a good country, the rakyat must first be sure about their identity and be willing to sacrifice. I am Malaysian first and Islam is my religion, and there is no second. This is where I was born, where I grow, where I live and where my grave will be. I will be eligible to vote next year, and I will do my job as a responsible citizen in the next general election.

Insya-Allah.

  2. i think we malays take things for granted. i think we're weak, considering we're the majority on this land, and we're the ones with all the privileges. we're not trying to improve. we make excuses too many times, up to a point it doesn't even make sense anymore. a problem creeps up, we give in. we don't even strive for excellence. we settle for good. we're just too comfy being at where we are, and we don't want to lose that.

  4. I do think so. The Malay keep receive allowance and other specialties and this situation make them (us) sometimes cannot survive in our own country. That's way our economy being monopolised mostly by non-muslim=malay.

  6. Hak istimewa org melayu:

So bayang kan lah...jika DIMANSUHKAN memorandum hak istimewa org melayu..maka MANSUH juga kewarganegaraan org india & cina...so fikir2 kan lah akibatnya..

banyak pihak menanipulasikan isu hak istimewa melayu untuk melaga2 kan kaum melayu dengan cina & india...walhal mereka tidak tahu risiko & fakta sebenar disebalik memorandum tu...

tapi skrg adakah kesemua hak2 itu masih ada utk org melayu??? dah byk hak2 istimewa melayu ditarik...tp masih ramai lagi org cina & india yg masih tidak berpuas hati....

  7. It should be known that by the British giving citizenship status to the Chinese and Indian migrants at that time is a simpler way out rather than sending them home or making they choose their own citizenship.

The Brits had learned from India, where a massive amount of Indians become immigrants and the latter, applied for British citizenship within their independence process.

As a Muslim, i feel ashamed that some of the so called Malay-Muslims are still vigorous about the supremacy of their own race, when in fact my prophets never taught me so.

  8. if you were saying like this means you forgot that we fight this land using only keris and lembing from portugis and other invaders.

we do have kings, although most of the kings have been wiped out by the british.

UMNO fight for us, and dont forget, dato' jaafar onn been accused as a traitor, and malays been divided because he tried to give the chinese and indians malaysian citizenship status. now we are giving them as bumiputra?

and i do agree that we malay do take things for granted, too much politics, to much main tarik tali and even rasuah. and i do agree if malay supremacy dihapuskan, melayu akan ditindas dan masa itulah baru mereka akan bersatu atas nama bangsa dan agama.

but the point is, are we, malays are ready when the malay supremacy is given up? the chinese and indians wants the title for bumiputra because they want the bumiputra special rights.

now sudah banyak hak keistimewaan melayu ditarik balik, boleh rujuk kepada 7 perjanjian raja2 melayu dahulu. even byk keistimewaan telah dihapuskan, indians and chinese masih tak berpuas hati lg. i wonder if the malay supremacy is no more, will they halau us from this land? or do we fight to live on our own land?

melayu sudah lama berpecah. drpd zaman kesultanan melayu melaka lg. lihat saja sejarah naning, mcm mana naning bole jatuh ke tangan british?

    ubah sikap, bukan perlembagaan.

  10. I agree with u Mr. fared....

Dalam kata lain, we are malays as the indigenous people in this country, need to strengthen ourselves to ensure our generations were successful and not become coolies to others. I'm pretty sure we don't want to become coolie right....

  11. its all because of all the capitalist scums up there, wanting to keep getting richer and richer. first of all, only education can propel someone forward. make sure all you guys are planning to at least get a degree. it makes a whole lot different for people with degrees and without. malay kids tend to be irresponsible when it comes to education. look at them in school. look at them in universities. most of them don't understand how important education is.

  12. Dear writer sir,

Being a Melayu, we are tolerant and forgiving lots. If Ah Kau and Ramasamy took the trouble to pay homage to Malaysia and respect Melayu they are one of us, there are Malay as well. Can't you see? Look at Kelantan Chinese, for instance, they are truly our brothers yet they are Chinese. Problem here is when these Ah Kau & Ramamsamy cannot even speak in proper Malay yet they want to share everything equally with Malay, Enough is enough, they had their mind instilled with hatred towards Malay people from home and right from the first day they stepped into their vernacular schools. I just want to keep calling them Cina & India to remind me that they are merely pendatangs.

  13. I agreed I agreed. Im a malay and I just feel sorry for the chinese and the indians. They have the right also. They were born here, the same place where we were born. Why cant we become equal? They love malaysia the same way we do. Plus, more from their races had made us malaysian proud in many ways? cause they know what workhard means. where are all the malay?? We already being spoiled too much that we can fought the way they did. Come one...why cant we become the same..we cant live without each other. What the really different between everyone in this country except our colours and our races?
