Baby Hatch : Appropriate or Not ?

NOTHING is ever black or white. Which is why people disagree with each other all the time.
From the latest whether appropriate changing Facebook to MillatFacebook to whether it's within the rights of 2-year-old Ardi Rizal in Indonesia to smoke 40 cigarettes a day, everything seems to be fodder for argument and debate.
Same goes to me. Confuse and lost. That’s what in my head about the baby hatch. I still think whether it is appropriate to set up the baby hatch.
First time I read the news about the NGO want to set up the baby hatch, I read it with disgust. It came cross my mind that how come such a program be introduced? It’s suck!
Baby hatches are a waste because they just treat the symptoms and do not resolve the issue of social problem and abandoned babies.

Ah Tan and The Half Billion Money to Charity

Business tycoon, Tan Sri Vincent Tan (Ah Tan) , the chairman and CEO of his own BERJAYA company, just announced recently that he will donate the proceeds of RM525mil from the proposed sale of his 70% stake in Ascot Sports Sdn Bhd to a foundation he has renamed “Better Malaysia Foundation". Well u can read the news about it here.
One question, what is wrong with this man?
With the profit from his gambling business, even he donates a billion ringgit to the charity, that does not right a wrong. A wrong is still a wrong no matter how much u pours money to make it right.
It seems like he trying to ‘bribe’ the rakyat with his charity money so that rakyat will not ‘bising-bising’ with the license of the sports gambling.

Tips How To Make People Like U and Be Ur Friends

Do u know why the law put the bad people into the cell?
It is to block their freedom from outer world. But worst of it, the reason why they put bad people in cell is because to separate them with the people that they like and love such as family and friends. That’s the worst punishment ever because when they don’t get to see or meet anybody that is close to them, it will torture them psychologically, it will torture their minds and insanity.
So for us who still lucky enough not to be in prison (haha), we better appreciate it. Better find friends rather than find trouble. Here are some tips that u should follow to make people like u and automatically by following these, it will turn even stranger to be ur friends.

DAMN U JEWS! IF HITLER IS STILL ALIVE

“They have navy ship on either side, the helicopter over the head. We were being attack in every single side. We are being attack in international water, completely illegally.”
“ All phone have been jammed and make impossible to contact the out world. They try to dismantle the satellite.”
“The organiser has raised white flag, after one civilian was killed, it might be more, despite the white flag has been raised, the Israeli army is still shooting, still firing.”
These were among the news reported that I heard from the web yesterday. The situation was very nasty. I was about to update my blog at the moment of the attack, but because of my mouth cannot stop cursing at the Jews, I settle down for today.
Israeli forces on Monday attacked an international flotilla carrying aid to besieged Gaza, killing up to 20 and wounding more than 70 others.
Well, I don’t want to talk more about the news and update of the attack. I’m sure we all updated enough about that in the news. So let’s just talk about ‘the Jews’.

There are worse things than killing your children. You can just do it the normal way. Let them live in today's world.
                                                                                                                                                                                     Chuck Palahniuk

Beware of ur children activities.
While new technology and vast capabilities of information gathering and communication is still an awesome thing for most of us, to our children, it’s just life.
With so many social networking nowadays, almost all of us have at least one account with the social networking, whether it is Facebook, Myspace or anything. We, one of the billions of Internet users, are so open and vulnerable to the whole kind of people in this world.
All group ages of people use the social networking, whether to connecting with friend, for leisure and even for a business. And we all know that Facebook, MySpace, Friendster and so many others social networking nowadays can bring good, and also can bring harm to the users.
BUT what I want to highlight here is the danger of social networking to the kids.

Brain Drain in Malaysia

Malaysia is having problem with a brain drain nowadays. Many of our professional such as doctors and  engineers are leaving the country to work at other countries such as Singapore, Brunei and others.
According to the Malaysian Employers Federation (MEF) quoted in the story, there are 785,000 Malaysians who work overseas, and an estimated two out of every three among them are likely to be professionals. The MEF added that of the Malaysian professionals who work abroad, 44 per cent are in Singapore and 28 per cent in other parts of Asia, with the rest residing in other parts of the world.

More than 2,500 engineering graduates from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia leave the country to work at Singapore every year. This was admitted by the UTM vice chancellor himself, Prof Datuk Dr. Zaini Ujang. He also said that Singapore companies headhunt the graduates right after graduation.

Sime Darby

Sime Darby is a very big government linked company (GLC), which is among the top, who compete with the PETRONAS, Maybank, TNB, CIMB and so on. The Sime Darby that we see today is a result of gigantic merger between the old Sime Darby, Golden Hope and Guthrie in 2007, which give birth to the world’s largest plantation based corporation.
However, this company has also developed many business divisions instead of the core plantation and this including Energy and Utilities, Property, Healthcare, Automotive and Industrial. Sime Darby is now a massive company with having around 100,000 employees working in 20 different countries worldwide. So don’t be surprised if u get to know that the CEO of this company, Dato’ Ahmad Zubir Mursyid, is among the highest paid CEO in Malaysia which salary is RM2millions annually.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of talks about Sime Darby lately regarding to losses of huge sum of money which is amount RM1.6billions, where RM1billions is expected to book from the losses in its third quarter result. These losses was regarding to the projects in the Middle East as well as the Bakun hydroelectric dam project in Sarawak. This project is under conglomerate’s energy and utilities division.
